**Author's Note**
Chapter 18 is the longest chapter I have written so far, beating out chapter 15 by about 10 words. And it only involves about half of the cast.
I'm aware that the story has gotten away from Shepard's character a little bit, but I really wanted to focus on The Lawsons and Kasumi for the conclusion of this story arc. But, rest assured, you'll see a lot of Shepard in chapter 19. A lot.
